Gold vintage bag

The newest addition to SewExpressiveDesigns. The front of this stunning bag was made with gold-colored satin striped fabric; the back and flap with crinkled embroidered coordinating material. The lining is fused to the front for stability. It’s fully lined and has a loop and vintage button closure. The flower button mirrors the pattern of the embroidery.
The edges of the purse were bound with satin fabric; the same material used for the shoulder strap. Purse measures 10X10 inches with a strap of 42 inches, and has a dart style gusset.
Again, this is a one of a kind design waiting for the discerning wearer.

Red bag/reticule

This asymmetrical bag was constructed in the fashion of days gone by. The heavy cotton print portrays a family working on the farm. The flap is soft velvet, with a button and loop closure. The bag is fully lined and measures 8”X8”; the corded shoulder strap is 44” long.
The bottom of the bag is darted as a gusset to allow room for all your essentials.

Old Time School

I have been altering puzzle pieces, creating a whole new focus.
This is my most recently altered puzzle piece, a 1-4-1 titled "Old Time School".
Do you remember those days? A little before my time, actually!

Fabric Postcards

These are my first attemps at making fabric postcards. I have sent the butterfly one in the mail. I am hoping it gets to the recipient. I had a lot of fun doing these - there will be more!

Puzzle piece

This is my first attempt at altering a puzzle piece - it's actually 3 pieces glued together, then embellished with paints, tape transfer image, leaf, rhinestone and foil. It was lots of fun to do - my next challenge will be an ATC, an even smaller size.
